Volunteers make our services possible!
Volunteers make a world of difference at Arthritis South Australia - they are the lifeblood of our organisation. They enable us to provide thousands of South Australians with our wide range of information, education and support services. They enable us to stage special events like our annual walkathon. They also play a range of fun yet critical roles to the staging of Kidsflix events throughout SA.
There is a satisfaction to be gained in volunteering with us associated with learning new skills or using your life experience to help others. It can be the simply knowing that you're putting something back into the community.
We invite members to think creatively when offering their time voluntarily to Arthritis SA. There are traditional regular roles in administration available, but also spots for once-off or occasional volunteering available. For example, if you have a current first aid certificate you might like to offer your first aid services for one of our annual events. Or, if you are a hobby photographer, you might like to offer your services at one of our events.
Anyone wishing to volunteer will be asked to have a Police History Check undertaken, at no cost, and will be required to adhere to Arthritis SA's policies and procedures.
We would love to have you join our team!
