Workplace Giving

Workplace Giving allows employees to donate to Arthritis SA regularly through an employer’s payroll system. The basic premise and appeal of Workplace Giving as a method of supporting the community is that the donations are made from the employee’s pre-tax salary.

Our program also encourages employees to engage with Arthritis SA through initiatives such as volunteering and fundraising events.

We acknowledge the staff and/or the business in various high profile ways which are discussed when setting up Workplace Giving or other forms of business/employee donations.

How to donate

Workplace Giving is easy, flexible and tax effective. Arthritis SA can provide information and advice to help encourage staff to donate. Speak with our Marketing & Communications Manager Celia Painter about a program designed just for your workplace.

Other ways in which companies can support us include:

  • Sponsoring an event, or a component of an event, such as brunch at Arthritis SA's annual walkathon, or even a publication or a specific research project
  • Making an outright donation to Arthritis SA, either as a ‘one off’ or on a regular or annual basis
  • Developing an Arthritis SA ‘charity challenge’, whereby employees raise money for Arthritis SA and the company matches it dollar for dollar
  • Having fruit or lolly boxes in the workplace with proceeds benefiting Arthritis SA
