Privacy
This statement sets out Arthritis SA's policies relating to the privacy of your personal information.

These policies are based on national and international privacy standards.

The information voluntarily supplied by you includes contact details to receive further information about Arthritis SA, the project(s) we are undertaking with you and any other information you may specify from time to time.

The Arthritis SA web site collects the following information from users:
  1. A record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes - the user's IP address, the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify individual users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect our web server logs. This information is analysed at the end of each week and month to determine the site's usage statistics.

  2. Arthritis SA retains the e-mail address of people who send E-mails through any online forms or via any email addresses published on the site, for the purpose of sending a response.          This information is used to secure and monitor access to the web site concept materials and other information and enables Arthritis SA to keep this information secure. The information is stored in a secure area of the Arthritis SA web server.

Please note that Arthritis SA's web site contains links to a large number of other web sites that are included on the basis of containing or representing web design and development work carried out by Arthritis SA, or related to business, community or government issues. Arthritis SA Shop Policy Statement
Arthritis SA does not necessarily recommend products advertised in the Arthritis Shop. Some people may assume that anything that appears here has been cleared, vetted or in some way approved by Arthritis SA. This is not so. Please exercise your own judgement about whether the advertised product is likely to help you personally and, where appropriate, take advice from yoru doctor or health professional before purchasing.  Refund Policy
.  Arthritis SA will replace a product if the goods purchased are faulty or become faulty through no fault of your own.
.  Faulty goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt and be accompanied by proof of purchase. You may also be
   asked to verify that the problem with the item was not of your own making.
.  Please note that once opened from their secure wrapping, DVDs or CDs cannot be returned unless they are found
   to be faulty.
.  Credits and refunds may be offered at our discretion.
.  Please choose carefully as you are not entitled to a credit or refund if you simply change your mind.
