Channel 9 Telethon – presentation to lottery winner
Congratulations to Betty Winchester, whose ticket number 102850 was a winner in the 2008 Channel 9 Telethon Pick a Prize Lottery.
Betty ‘picked’ the Suzuki SX4 Sports Hatch and was presented with her prize by Dealer Principal, Bob Lightfoot at the Suzuki In The City Showrooms, Waymouth Street, Adelaide on Wednesday 6 August.
Special thanks to Suzuki In The City who have sponsored to a total of 23 cars in the Channel 9 Telethon lottery since 1998!
Alistair Baird from Arthritis SA was on hand to congratulate Betty and thank her for the continuous support of the Arthritis Foundation of SA who were one of the 12 participating charities in this year’s lottery and sold the winning ticket to Betty!
By purchasing a book of tickets for $20, Betty received a bonus ticket in the book and that was the winning one!
The 2008 lottery raised $201,310.
The lifestyle lottery commenced in 1978 has raised over $4 million for South Australian Charities.
